By confirming your order or booking, you expressly accept the application of the general terms and conditions of The CORNR Hotel.

Internal Regulations (including pets)

To ensure all hotel guests enjoy a pleasant and peaceful stay, the following rules apply at Hotel Uilenspiegel:

1/ Do not disturb the peace of other hotel guests at night.

2/ Make as little noise as possible in the hallways and other common areas.

3/ Every guest should take care to minimize noise when using the radio or TV.

4/ Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel building. A cleaning fee of €250.00 will be charged for non-compliance with this ban, without prior warning. Smoking is only allowed on the hotel terrace on the first floor of The CORNR Hotel 4*.

5/ Unaccompanied children under the age of 12 are not allowed to use the elevator. The use of the elevator is strictly prohibited in the event of a fire in the building.

6/ Small dogs are tolerated in the building, subject to the explicit and prior approval of the operator, provided they do not cause any inconvenience. In case of persistent inconvenience or without prior consent, the animal may be removed. A supplement of 20 EUR per day per pet is charged. The maximum number of dogs per room is 2.

7/ Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room during breakfast hours for hygiene reasons.

8/ No pet is allowed to roam freely in common areas (entrance, hallways, elevator, garage, etc.); dogs must always be on a leash.

9/ If extra cleaning is required in the room due to pet pollution, a flat fee of 50 EUR will be charged. Any damage caused by the pet will be fully charged to the hotel guest.

Internal Regulations - Parking

1/ Access to a private parking space must never be blocked. In such a case, the vehicle will be towed away under art. 87.8° of the Rural Code. This also applies to trailers without a license plate.

2/ LPG vehicles are not allowed in the garage.

3/ Garages should only be used for parking vehicles.

4/ Children are not allowed to play (or roller skate, skateboard, etc.) in the garages or on the driveway, nor in the common areas of the building.

General Terms and Conditions - Hotel Regulations

To ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests, all guests must comply with the behavioral rules established by the hotel. Pets are not allowed in the hotel unless explicitly permitted by the hotel operator, based on the characteristics of the pet and the hotel's occupancy.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel building. A fine of €250.00 will be applied for non-compliance with this ban. Violation of the rules may result in removal from the hotel without refund of the invoice amount or part thereof.

Hotel Uilenspiegel BV reserves the right to make changes to the layout and opening hours of its facilities. Please note that maintenance work may be carried out during your stay without entitlement to any compensation.

Force Majeure

If the performance of an agreement is wholly or partially prevented by circumstances beyond the control of Hotel Uilenspiegel BV, such as strikes, blockades, fires, threats of war, floods, or other disruptions, this does not entitle the guest to any compensation whatsoever.

Liability

Hotel Uilenspiegel BV accepts no liability for theft, loss, or damage of any kind during or as a result of a stay at the hotel. If you break or damage something, please report it to reception. Hotel Uilenspiegel BV is not responsible for the malfunction or closure of hotel facilities. Missing items or devices from the room will be charged to the guest.

Bookings

Hotel Uilenspiegel BV only accepts bookings from persons aged 18 or older. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at any time without providing a reason. Once your booking is accepted, you will receive a confirmation by email.

Room Price

All prices are in euros.

Included in the room price:

  • An overnight stay in the booked room
  • Daily room and bathroom refresh
  • Free use of wireless internet
  • 6% VAT
  • Any additional facilities and services explicitly included in your room arrangement

Not included in the room price:

  • Additional facilities and services not included in your room arrangement
  • Bar or restaurant consumption (unless otherwise stated in your room arrangement)
  • Tourist tax

An early departure of one or more persons does not entitle a partial refund of the room price.

Payments

You pay the total invoice amount at the time of booking your stay, unless the booking is guaranteed by a valid credit card with sufficient provision. In the absence of this guarantee, your booking may be canceled. Payment can be made to the following bank account number:

Cancellations (up to 8 rooms)

** Cancellation is free up to 5 days before arrival.

** Cancellation after purchasing cancellation insurance can be made until 12:00 on the day of arrival.

** Non-refundable reservations cannot be changed or canceled.

Group Cancellation Policy (from 8 rooms)

1/ Group reservation cancellation.

** Cancellation >31 days before arrival: free cancellation, the deposit will be refunded 100%.

** Cancellation <31 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged.

** Cancellation <14 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount will be charged.

2/ Changes to the number of participants & rooms.

** Changes are defined as a change in the number of participants up to 25% of the total.

** Change <7 days before arrival: 25% of the room price will be charged.

** Change <3 days before arrival: 50% of the room price will be charged.

** Change <1 day before arrival: 100% of the room price will be charged.

Billing Terms - The CORNR Hotel

By confirming your order or booking, you expressly accept the application of the general terms and conditions of Hotel Uilenspiegel BV.

Art. 1 - Invoice Estimate
The customer acknowledges that the price indicated in the received quote is only an estimate, depending on the final number of participants to be invoiced and the consumptions used at the rates applicable during the event.

Art. 2 - Payment Terms
At the end of the event, the final balance will be drawn up, and the customer undertakes to pay the balance invoice amount upon leaving the hotel. Payment is made in cash or by Visa, Maestro, or Mastercard unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Art. 3 - Payment
Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date, in accordance with the general invoice terms, which are an integral part of this agreement.

Art. 4 - Invoice Terms
An interest rate of 1% per month will be charged without prior notice for invoices not paid on the due date. In addition, a flat-rate compensation of 15% of the outstanding invoice amount is due, with a minimum of €50.00, without prejudice to legal costs and enforcement costs. All complaints, of any kind, must be communicated to us in writing within eight days of the invoice date. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hotel Uilenspiegel BV's legal district. Belgian law applies.

Art. 5 - Theft / Liability
The lessor is not liable for damage related to theft, embezzlement, or loss of items located in the rented space. These items remain at the risk of the hotel guest and/or other interested parties.
