By receiving confirmation of your order or booking, you expressly agree to the general terms and conditions of The CORNR Hotel.
Rules of Internal Order (including pets)
To ensure that all hotel guests can enjoy a pleasant and peaceful stay, the following rules apply at Hotel Uilenspiegel:
1/ Don’t prevent the other hotel guests from getting a good night’s sleep.
2/ Keep noise to a minimum in the corridors and other communal areas.
3/ Limit the level of noise disturbance when using the radio and TV.
4/ There is a smoking ban in the entire hotel building and the cleaning fee for not respecting this ban is €250.00. This fee will be charged without prior notice. At The CORNR Hotel 4*, smoking is only permitted on the first-floor terrace.
5/ Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the lift unaccompanied. Use of the lift is strictly prohibited in the event of a fire in the building.
6/ Small dogs are permitted in the building, subject to explicit and prior permission from the hotel manager, insofar as this does not cause any disturbance! In the event of persistent disturbance or without prior permission, the animal may be removed. There is a supplement of €20 per day per pet. The maximum number of dogs per room is 2.
7/ For hygiene reasons, dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room during breakfast hours.
8/ No pets are permitted to run around in the communal areas (entrance, corridors, lift, garage, etc.). Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
9/ If extra room cleaning is required because of the pet, a flat rate of €50 will be charged. The cost of any damage caused by the pet will always be recovered in full from the hotel guest.
Rules of Internal Order - Parking
1/ Under no circumstances may access to a private parking space be blocked. Should this occur, the vehicle will be towed away, pursuant to art. 87.8° of the Belgian Rural Code. This also applies to (trailer) vehicles without a number plate.
2/ LPG vehicles are not allowed in the garage.
3/ The garages may only be used to park vehicles.
4/ Children are not allowed to play (or roller skate, skateboard, etc.) in the garages or on the driveway leading to them, or in the communal areas of the building.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Hotel Regulations
Hotel Regulations
In order to ensure that all guests enjoy a pleasant stay at the hotel, all guests must adhere to the rules of conduct set out by the hotel. Pets are not permitted in the hotel, unless explicitly allowed by the hotel manager based on the characteristics of the pet and how busy the hotel is.
There is a smoking ban in the entire hotel building. The fine for not respecting this ban is €250.00. Violation of the rules may result in removal from the hotel without any partial or full refund of the final bill.
Hotel Uilenspiegel BV reserves the right to make changes to the nature and opening hours of its facilities. Please note that maintenance work may be carried out in the hotel during your stay without you being entitled to any compensation.
Force majeure
If an agreement cannot be carried out in part or in full due to circumstances beyond the control of Hotel Uilenspiegel BV, such as staff strikes, blockades, fire, threat of war, floods, other disturbances or events, there is no entitlement to any compensation of any kind whatsoever.
Liability
Hotel Uilenspiegel BV accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage, of any nature whatsoever, during or as a result of a stay in the hotel. If you break or damage something, please report the damage to the reception. Hotel Uilenspiegel BV is not liable for any technical equipment that malfunctions or is out of order or for the removal or closure of hotel facilities. Any goods or appliances that are removed from the room will always be charged to the customer.
The person who made the booking and their accompanying guests are jointly and severally liable for all loss and damage suffered by Hotel Uilenspiegel BV or other third parties as a direct or indirect result of their stay, regardless of whether this was caused by acts or omissions of their own or of third parties who ended up in the hotel because of them, as well as for all damage caused by any item in their possession. In case of improper use of the room, additional (cleaning) costs may be charged.
Bookings
Hotel Uilenspiegel BV only accepts bookings from persons aged 18 and over. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at any time and without reason. You will receive an email confirmation once your booking has been accepted.
Room rates
All rates are in euros.
Included in the room rate:
* One night in the booked room
* Daily housekeeping of the room and bathroom
* Free use of the wireless internet
* 6% VAT
* Any additional facilities and services explicitly included in your room package
Not included in the room rate:
* Additional facilities and services not included in your room package
* Any items consumed at the bar or in the hotel restaurant (unless otherwise specified in your room package)
* Tourist tax
Early departure of one or more persons does not result in a refund of part of the room rate.
Payments
You will pay the total amount when booking your stay, unless the booking is guaranteed by a valid credit card with sufficient funds. In the absence of this guarantee, your booking may be cancelled.

Cancellations
** Cancellation is free of charge up to 7 days before your arrival.
** If you have paid for cancellation insurance, you can cancel your booking until 12pm on the day of arrival.
**Reservations without refund option cannot be changed or cancelled free of charge.
Invoice terms and conditions The CORNR Hotel
By receiving confirmation of your order or booking, you expressly agree to the general terms and conditions of Hotel Uilenspiegel BV.
Art.1 Estimated invoice
The customer acknowledges that the price stated in the quotation received is only an estimate pending the definitive number of participants to be invoiced and the consumption(s) used at the rates applicable during the activity.
Art.2 Payment terms
At the end of the activity, the final balance is drawn up and the customer is obliged to pay the final invoice amount when leaving the hotel. Payment is made in cash or by Visa, Maestro or Mastercard, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Art.3 Payment
Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date, in accordance with the invoice general terms and conditions that form an integral part of this agreement.
Art.4 Invoice general terms and conditions
Interest of 1% per month will be charged without prior notice for invoices that have not been paid by the due date. In addition, a fixed compensation of 15% of the outstanding invoice amount will be due, with a minimum of €50.00, without prejudice to legal and implementation costs. All complaints regardless of nature must be communicated to us in writing within 8 days of the invoice date. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the legal district of Hotel Uilenspiegel BV. Belgian law applies.
Art. 5 Theft/Liability
The lessor is not liable for damage in connection with theft, embezzlement or loss of items in the rented space. These items remain in the rented property at the risk of the hotel guest and/or other interested party.
